Video Messages on Telegram

Hey friends, welcome to SmartCity, today I am going to show you how to do Video Chat on Telegram.
We know how much we love the speed and simplicity of voice messages on Telegram. But if you have 4.0 or higher Telegram version on your smartphone, you can also send video messages – just as swiftly.
To send a video message, go to any chat on Telegram and tap the Mic icon to switch to camera mode. Now all you need to do is tap and hold the camera icon and record a video message. When you’re done, just release the recording button to dispatch your message — and it will be delivered in the blink of an eye.
You can record video messages maximum up to 60 seconds. If you record a message up to 60 seconds by Tap-and-Hold method then you can crop your message from both Ends and you can cancel message by tapping on bin icon.
If you record a video for less than 60 seconds by tap and hold recording method, you can do with video message is send the video message without amendment or cancel the message by swiping left but you cannot crop the video using this method.
By the way, if holding the button seems like too much work or you want additional cropping amendment feature then you can lock the camera icon in recording mode by swiping up. This also works with voice messages now. If you want to stop and send before video recording reach 60 seconds still you can crop video from both ends and also can be cancelled by tapping on Bin icon. But do remember currently there is no facility for a voice message to crop and send.
Video messages are so fast because Telegram compresses them and sends them immediately once you release the camera icon.
Video messages are automatically downloaded and autoplayed by default (you can change this in Settings if you’re on a data diet though) and generally feel and act like voice messages – on visual steroids.
While watching a video message, you can freely browse your other text chats – the video will pop up in a corner and continue playing. You can move it around the screen and pause it from anywhere in Telegram.
